Hotel Omm musical program

On 30th September, the last in the series of the Hotel Omm”s cultural flees from the classical concert idea sees  renowned pianist Mauricio Villavecchia playing live, accompanied by the voice of Maria Pi-Sunyer.

Hotel Omm invites you to take a drink before dinner, thereby transforming the moment into a full and different experience of musical nuances.  In the words of Viki Canut, the person responsible for the program, “What we try to do is create a pleasant and warm atmosphere with highly interpretive musicians.  So everyone can enjoy a special moment that becomes like a small recital”.

Together, Pianist Mauricio Villavecchia and Maria Pi-Sunyer form a perfect couple interpreting ballads, ambient music, classical jazz themes and the best of pop music.

Odessey Two - Futura

Odyssey Two, showing at Münzstr. 19, Berlin from September 24 – 27th runs throughout art forum berlin bringing together 20 years of Futura’s work.  New pieces will be on display alongside key works such as the original iconic Pointman canvas and a collection of early Pointman sketches.

The art forum berlin – the International Art Show – will be taking place for the fourteenth time from 24 to 27 September 2009.

At the start of the autumn season for European art fairs some 130 of the leading galleries from the world’s main art centres will be presenting their stars and newcomers in Berlin.  For the first time galleries representing art from the sixties onwards will be invited to join the core of contemporary art galleries.

During art forum berlin, the museums, galleries and private art institutions of Berlin will offer a varied programme of outstanding exhibitions.  The New National Gallery will present Pictorial Dreams. The Ulla and Heiner Pietzsch Collection and Thomas Demand.  The Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart, hosts the exhibition Preis der Nationalgalerie für Junge Kunst 2009: Keren Cytter, Omer Fast, Annette Kelm und Danh Vo.

Berlin galleries will also host the abc exhibition entitled def – drafts establishing future. This exhibition shows models, drawings, sketches, installations and videos of art projects specifically created for Berlin’s public spaces.
