
How do you take a swarming company headquarters and turn it into something new to represent your company as both inventive and productive? If you were to ask Catharina Frankander and Joel Degermark they’d start with the story behind your products.
The creative duo makes up the Sweden-based design firm Electric Dreams and the pair couldn’t have picked a more ideal moniker. The interior spaces created by Electric Dreams inspire thoughts of what could be, what hasn’t yet been invented, and spaces that invite means to ideas that have yet to be thought. Take, for example, their recent interpretation for Fabric Retail Glbl headquarter offices in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Home to some of the iconic Swedish brands such as Volvo and Nudie Jeans – this smaller sister of Stockholm is anything but dull – buried in its quaint streets, this is fast becoming the “green” home of the creative set. With the beaut natural coastline of the Southern Archipelago just minutes away, this seaside port is well worth the trip, especially if you stay here.
