Hotel rooms make people act as they wouldn’t normally. It’s a complete mystery why suddenly you “make love” like you’re being paid to. It must be something to do with the new surroundings and maybe something to do with the fact it’s a space filled with things to be bent over. Flicking through Cosmo and picking out some tips about nibbling ear lobes and dressing as a nurse are just baby steps in a world of possibilities. New Years Eve. Do it White Line style.

Do you remember where you were for the Millennium? Do you remember how cool you were and the vast amounts of metallic clothes you had on? Do you remember your hair? I’m sure it would still be in fashion now. Do you remember you wondered where you would be in 10 years time?

The restaurant at East gives those of you in Hamburg over the festive period the opportunity to drop your kitchen equipment and let someone else cook your Christmas dinner.  From the 24th through to the 26th the restaurant offers a luxurious, traditional German menu, with a couple of twists. Five up in the East

Five years ago this week, three friends – Christoph Strenger, Anne-Marie Bauer und Marc Ciunis, combined to create one of the most outstanding hotels in Germany – The East Hotel Hamburg.  Key to its success has been their reluctance to stand still and their willingness to innovate.

A great team is not all that has helped them establish East as the hottest spot in Hamburg.  Star architect Jordan Mozer and his “surreal mixture of East and West, old and new”, combined with an impressive gastronomical offering has made this spot a reason to visit Hamburg.
