With its headquarters in Zurich, The Greulich Culture Foundation was founded in April 2005 with the sole aim to support and honour high-class cultural journalism. The foundation is involved in journalistic education as well as the support of young journalists and aims to have a positive impact on the quality of journalism in general.
The foundation is controlled by a supervising authority in the Swiss Department for Internal Affairs. The foundation is part of the whole Greulich project which was implemented by Swiss solicitor Dr Thomas B. Brunner in 2003 and which includes a restaurant, a bar as well as a the design hotel Greulich and which serves as a place where modernity and urban culture is lived in Zurich’s “Kreis 4″ area.
