WHAT IS BORGMANN 1772? Borgmann is a premium German herbal liqueur with a history going back over a century. It can be enjoyed on it's own, or mixed, the classic - Borgmann and Tonic.

WHO IS BEHIND BORGMANN 1772? Borgmann & Clausen was founded in Jan 2006 by three young guys from Berlin. The Brothers Jan and Hendrik Borgmann and their longtime friend Joern Clausen.

HOW DID IT COME TO EXIST? Jan and Hendrik Borgmann’s family has been running a pharmacy for over three hundred years in Braunschweig/Germany. One part of the pharmacy’s business has always been a handmade traditional premium herb infused liqueur, created for the health and well-being of their customers. The trio always nicked a bottle when in Braunschweig and enjoyed the liqueur once they were back in Berlin. At one point the parents agreed to grant the commercial rights for the stuff and the three guys founded their own company.

WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL? Borgmann & Clausen believes in the combination of a traditional handmade approach and the current demand for real, authentic products with a contemporary design.

Every limited edition is designed by a creative person or network which fit the
brand values. The first edition was designed by Floor5, a Berlin Creative Agency. The second edition is done by m23, Fons Hickmann, the third by MAROK, aka Thomas Marecki, founder and publisher of Lodown Magazine. The current edition was designed by Etienne Russo, Belgian creative director, with further editions to come.

WHERE CAN YOU FIND IT? It can be found in Berlin clubs such as Cookies, Bar 1000 or Rodeo. It's also started surfacing on Munich, Cologne, Hamburg and Frankfurt too. You can, of course, find it at www.borgmann1772.com.
