The Luxury Nobis Hotel on Stockholm's famous Norrmalmstorg, was created by Swedish design studio Claesson Koivisto Rune.
Stand before this place and your thoughts swing back to an era of majestic splendour, the grand mansion house stands in the very heart of posh Stockholm – here the lookers come out to play, here the tailored suits swarm to be seen, here the savvy visitor gains credence.
Thankfully this new place veers clear of the predictable, dusty, old Grand Dame Hotel – this place boosts youthfulness, brags simplicity and relishes attentive informality.
A tamed, muted elegance of the past is infused by simplicity, yet is textured, warm and smooth capturing a florescent twist on the traditional interpretations of lux grandeur past. It lends an air of smart sophistication, a polished elegant pose, not just a hotel; this is set to become the modern Embassy for trading, creativity & commerce.
The socialites first address when in town.
For the first time ever works by Pablo Picasso and Marcel Duchamp are being displayed together at Stockholm's Moderna Museet, giving visitors the opportunity to mediate the battle between two of the most influential artists of the 20th century.MORE
